Jesus is my Health Insurance
In honor of the progress of the health care bill, and the fact that it won't help anyone I know, I give you this:

And just in case He doesn't cover non-generics, I stocked up on incense, eye of newt, and voodoo dolls.

Evil Comes in All Sizes
That's what they're calling this one, but I have my doubts. All sizes? Then where's the XXXXL? Hmmm? And why are the men's shirts sized in letters and the women's shirts in numbers? Must be a metric system thing. I've never understood the British.

Invasion
Clearly I love a good Space Invaders shirt (or two, or three, or four), so I suppose it's entirely predictable that I adore this mold-breaking tee from Jinx:

By the way, that picture is totally Photoshopped. You can tell because the shadows are all wrong.

Shoe Thrower
Sure, it's a Banksy ripoff (which was itself derivative), but it's still a great tribute to Muntazer al-Zaidi.
Who has two thumbs and throws a shoe? That guy.

Spoilt
And from the same designer of The Food Chain, we have this - [SPOILER ALERT] the ultimate spoiler shirt.

Oh crap, I've seen all but two of those. What am I doing with my life??

I (ultimately) found this shirt through Rumplo, thanks to Annie!
When the zombie apocalypse comes, if one of them bites me, I want you to shoot me. But no shooting before that. Hey! I see you...

Love Forever
Even the French love Space Invaders!
Technically the design was commissioned by the Taito Corporation, but the designer is still French!

O'Bama
Every time someone compares our fair president with JFK, I always wonder why no one points out that they're both of Irish descent. How's about we spread the word?

Disapproving Narwhal
A big "Thankee Kindly" to Andrew for bringing today's Shirt Woot to my attention:

You're right, it is a little cutesy, but just look at that face! How can you say anything but a sheepish "I'm sorry" to that face, followed immediately by a squeaked "awwwww!"?

Called For Help
In honor of the slightly-delayed release of a Pac-Man energy drink, I give you this bit of genius from the one and only Glennz:
Conservation Status
This one definitely fits into the "I don't think I'd ever wear it, but it made me giggle" category. I particularly enjoy the unicorn and zombie.

Playing God
Andrew, I hope this is the one you were talking about:
because it's awesome and I love it. And in case you don't follow the link, I'd like to share this snippit from the product description:
"Move over, dinos! Now there’s somethin’ meteor!"

Robot Monster
In contrast to most of the designs I've seen so far today, this one actually admits to being designed by a 5-year-old. I really think the kid is on to something!

And if you like that, check out his "Monster Mash" shirt.

Five Crown shirts
I know I usually just feature one shirt per post, but I stopped by my local DNA yesterday and picked up these two shirts made by Five Crown, and thought they both merited a chance. In no particular order, I give you
and

Five Crown sells their shirts in a lot of small retailers in the LA area, but if you're not here, you can find them online at a variety of sites. I found a green version of "Keep Life Wild" on PalmerCash, but I have yet to come across the same version of "Green is my Favorite Color" online. Guess that makes me an early adopter! F1RST!!1!!!

You Are What You Eat
Step aside, vegans! There's a new game in town.

(For those of the weak-eyed persuasion, the shirt reads "You are what you eat, that's why I only eat dinosaurs")

Mechanical Breakdown
How long has it been since you saw a good robot t-shirt? Too long, that's how. Well why don't you try this one on for size?
I suppose you can't actually try it on unless you order one, but with options in red, gray, and striped white, it really would be hard to go wrong. I might get all of them - one for each hair color I've had this year! Which shirt goes best with chartreuse?

Spread the Love
Yesterday I called my cable company and asked them what they could offer me so that I wouldn't cancel my account, and they immediately dropped my monthly bill by $25 and gave me free Showtime. Me FTW! Tomorrow, I'm taking on my cell phone provider. Until I win that battle, I'm sticking with this:
Darth Vader walking AT-AT
I arrived a little early to my weekly comedy fix tonight and caught Doug Benson's "I Love Movies" podcast taping. Happy times! During the course of this week's thingy, Doug happened to mention his favorite t-shirt website, so I thought it might be nice to feature a shirt from said site. While he went with shirt that had a "Dazed and Confused" reference, I'm going for this one. Both are appropriate, I believe.
PS - Yes, Kevin Pollak was one of the surprise guests! To find out who the other one was, download the podcast from iTunes, or just give me a dollar and I'll tell you.

Strings
I set out trying to find online a shirt I saw today on someone, and I must say I'm quite displeased with the search engines currently available to us. If you're trying to find an image, you have to describe it and hope your tags match those of the vendor, and the whole thing is complete bullcrap. Hey, Google! How long till we can make a stick figure in Paint and use that to search for similar images? Huh? Huh?? Sheesh. Well, until they finally listen to me, here's a totally unrelated shirt I found that for some reason resonates with my current grumble.

Camp Soh-Cah-Toa
As winter slips gently into summer here in California, I'm reminded of the halcyon days of yore, when my parents couldn't stand us a single minute more and shipped us off to summer camp. The hazy days were filled with archery and arcsines, canoes and cosines, and that one time I accidentally fell asleep by the lake and ended up so tan I was co-tan. Sure, some of us still have our original vintage camp t-shirts, but you bandwagon-jumpers can pretend to be that cool by getting a replica.

Yes You Can
Happy Presidents' Day, y'all!
Has anyone ever figured out if it's "President's", "Presidents'" or just "Presidents" day? They all mean very different things and I think we could all use a bit of clarity these days.

I think I still like Glennz's version better, but this Amorphia tee is pretty cool nonetheless.
Does anyone know if "Amorphia" is in reference to what happens to their shirts after a few times through the wash?

Thursday
Now, if you just randomly saw this completely out of context, it would be bewildering to a postmodern degree, right?

Because what the hell does that image have to do with Thursdays? Was there some historic day I'm not aware of? Yes, undoubtedly, but that's beside the point. It turns out the answer (or the initial answer) to this conundrum is that "Thursday" is a band, and this is one of their many t-shirts. Still, I like the playfully morbid image and the seemingly-arbitrary caption. Methinks Magritte would approve.

The Robotanist
Now, it's possible that I only like this shirt for its name, but it's also possible that I don't care to make that distinction.
