Has anyone ever figured out if it's "President's", "Presidents'" or just "Presidents" day? They all mean very different things and I think we could all use a bit of clarity these days.

With millions of people currently in our nation's capitol and with Obamania reaching CDC-verified pandemic proportions, it's no surprise that there are quite a few t-shirts out there featuring our very very soon-to-be president. The one that has made me giggle the most so far is this one:

Is it January yet?

I can't wait for January 21st, I really can't. It's the start of a new era, a whole new world for us to discover and delight in, a brand new day for America. Yes, that's right, the new season of "Lost." If you want to wear your fandom on your person, I would recommend something along these lines,


although the official ABC website has plenty of other gear, too, including official Dharma Initiative jumpsuits (for casual Friday?), coffee mugs, and a poker set. All orders placed before January 31 get a free "Lost" temporary tattoo. If you want a permanent one, you'll have to go elsewhere.

Oh, yeah, and it'll be unbelievably kickass having Barack in the White House, too. That's around that time, right?

Save a Bunny...

Today I got an awesome gift in the mail - The Book of Bunny Suicides. If you have not perused this volume, I cannot recommend strongly enough that you do so. And in honor of this book, I give you a t-shirt I wish I'd found a month ago:

Back in the summer of 2001, when I was young and impetuous, I got this lovely t-shirt:
He looks young, doesn't he? In any case, here in 2008 there's a new version out there that's sloppier design-wise and more amateurish, but it has a better message.

Super Obama World

Well, that didn't take long. There's a new game out there, kids, and a shirt to go with it!
What better way to honor our new president than to collect American flag pins and stomp on pigs wearing lipstick?

UPDATE: I'm now completely hooked on Super Obama World. They have Palin on a snow machine! And ladies from the RNC trying to run you down with racks of high-end clothing (worth 150,000 points)! This is hilarious!
